Account & data deletion

Delete your CaseLink account

Last updated: July 29, 2026

You can request deletion of your CaseLink account and associated personal data at any time. Pure collector accounts can be deleted inside the app. Dealer owners and staff must request deletion so workspace ownership and shared images can be handled safely. This page explains both paths and the limited records that may lawfully remain.

CaseLink is operated by CaseLink Technologies LLC.

Delete in the app or request deletion

If your account is a pure collector account with no current or historical dealer-workspace membership, you can delete it yourself in a few taps. No support request or waiting period is required.

Pure collector account

  1. Open CaseLink and tap More.
  2. Tap the initials/profile button in the upper-right.
  3. Tap Account & security.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm twice, then tap Delete now.

A successfully deleted collector account is signed out immediately and can no longer sign in.

Dealer owners and staff cannot use automatic deletion during the beta. The app will direct you to support instead; this prevents a user-scoped image deletion from breaking shared dealer inventory.

Contact support

If you own or have ever joined a dealer workspace, have uninstalled CaseLink, or cannot access your account, use the Help Center deletion form. Enter the email address on your CaseLink account; the subject is prefilled as “Delete my account”. We will verify that the account is yours and safely complete the applicable deletion steps.

What gets deleted

  • Your login and identity (your email address and password).
  • Collector: your profile, saved cards, and watchlist.
  • Dealer owner: support verifies whether the workspace must be transferred or closed before removing the login. Tenant data is never destroyed by an automatic auth-user cascade.
  • Dealer staff: support removes the membership and login only after checking that user-owned images are not still used by the dealer workspace.
  • Any access-waitlist entry tied to your email address.

Dealer-controlled transaction records

A dealer is normally the controller of sale, trade, or customer records it entered. The dealer may need to retain a transaction record for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal-claims purposes. During account deletion, CaseLink removes or scrubs account-linked profile and contact fields where the deletion flow can identify them.

A counterparty name or detail entered independently in a dealer's free-text note may not be linked to your CaseLink account and therefore may not be found automatically. A record is described as anonymous only when it no longer identifies you by means reasonably likely to be used; otherwise it remains personal data and applicable rights continue. Contact the dealer first about its record, or use the support form and CaseLink will assist where required.

When it happens

Your active login and database-linked product data are removed when deletion completes. Account-owned image files may remain briefly in active storage while a durable cleanup job finishes after sign-out; queued files are removed as cleanup completes and are no longer linked to an active account. Limited support correspondence and legal-acceptance, security, audit, billing, or AI-operation records may remain only where needed for their stated purpose, a legal obligation, fraud prevention, or legal claims. Residual copies may also remain temporarily in disaster-recovery backups until they expire under the infrastructure provider's configured retention schedule; they are not restored for normal product use. Deletion of the active account is permanent and cannot be undone.
